Dear Esteemed Members and Colleagues,

Greetings from Seoul.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 77th Korean Dermatological Association (KDA) International Autumn Meeting, which will be held on October 18–19, 2025, at the Westin Seoul Parnas hotel in Seoul, Korea.

This year marks a truly significant milestone as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Korean Dermatological Association, which has long been dedicated to advancing dermatological science, education, and patient care. To commemorate this historic time, we are pleased to host this year's Autumn Meeting as a special international conference.

Unfortunately, the prolonged healthcare policy crisis in Korea over the past year and a half has had a profound impact—not only on patient care but also on our academic activities. We sincerely hope that this meeting will serve as a turning point, enabling us to reaffirm our core mission of scientific research, medical education, and patient care.

Today, our dermatology community is facing unprecedented challenges, both in private practice and academic settings, driven by rapid societal and systemic changes. In such critical times, your active participation and engagement are more vital than ever in safeguarding the identity and future of our specialty. We have made best effort to prepare a comprehensive and high-quality scientific program that meets the evolving needs of our community. The meeting will feature renowned international speakers sharing cutting-edge developments across key dermatological fields, alongside precious presentations from our researchers who have continued their work with dedication despite recent hardships.

I am sure that this meeting will be an indispensable platform for knowledge exchange, international collaboration, and collective insight as we navigate the challenges ahead.

In closing, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who contributed to the organization of this meeting, and in particular, to our invited speakers, session chairs, and international attendees who have traveled far to be with us.

Let us rise to meet these challenges—together and with resilience.
